Award

Ich habe einen Award bekommen von Lissawi von A Fair Prospect – vielen Dank! Ich schätze es wirklich, wenn jemand meinen Blog mag und ich weiß natürlich, dass diejenigen, die mir einen Award geben, es nett meinen, aber ich habe meine eigene Philosophie über Awards. Eigentlich dürfte ich diesen Award nur auf meinem Blog posten, wenn ich sieben meiner besonderen Gaben aufliste und außerdem den Award an sieben andere Blogs weitergäbe. Nicht dass ich nicht sieben andere gute Blogs kennen würde, aber in dem Moment, in dem ich den Award weitergebe, würde ich diese sieben Blogger ebenfalls zwingen, all diese Dinge zu tun. Für mich ist ein Award (deutsch: Auszeichnung) allerdings etwas, was man bekommt, weil man schon etwas geleistet hat – nämlich zum Beispiel einen hübschen Blog gestaltet – und nicht, wofür man erst noch etwas tun muss. Daher – wer gute Blogs besuchen möchte, kann sich zum Beispiel einfach an meine Blogliste halten. Das sind zumindest die Blogs, die ich gerne besuche und jeder einzelne es wert – mit oder ohne Award :)

I have received an award from Lissawi of A Fair Prospect – thank you very much! I really appreciate it when someone likes my blog and of course I know that those who give an award to me mean it well. However, I have got my own philosophy about awards. Normally I would not be entitled to post this award on my blog unless I write seven things which make me “Awe-summ” and nominate seven other blogs for the award which would mean that I forced seven other people to have to do these things. For me an award is something which one gets for an accomplishment already fulfilled – for example having created a nice blog – and not for something still to be done. Therefore – if you like to visit great blogs just click through my blog list, for example. Those are the blogs I like to visit and each one of them is worth it – with or without an award :)
