Dieser Film von 1954 ist einer der schönsten Musikfilme, die ich kenne. Die Geschichte ist zwar verrückt, aber irgendwie nett, und Jane Powell als resolute Ehefrau und Schwägerin von sieben Männern ist absolut unschlagbar :) Ihren Ehemann spielt übrigens Howard Keel, der in Deutschland in den 80er Jahren durch die Serie „Dallas“ als zweiter Ehemann von Ellie Ewing bekannt wurde.
This movie from 1954 is one of the loveliest musicals which I know. The story is crazy, but nice, and Jane Powell as the resolute wife and sister-in-law to seven men is absolutely unbeatable :) Her husband in the movie is played by Howard Keel who in Germany became well-known in the 80s when he played the second husband of Ellie Ewing in the TV series “Dallas”.

Don't you just love musicals? There's something so romantic about them. Sometimes, one must sit on a comfy sofa ~ with a cozy knit throw ~ and get lost in the worlds of Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire!:)
